Feldthouse Family Woodworks was founded at the beginning of 2020. Building upon years of experience working in general construction and carpentry, Ryan Feldthouse decided to switch his focus to smaller items, custom builds and fine woodworking. At first, the business mainly produced high quality cutting boards, with a unique personal style beginning to develop in June: "The Feldthouse Weave."
This signature style and approach to end-grain pattern work took Instagram by storm. The other half of the team is Ryan's partner, Chantal, a hobbyist photographer with a knack for Social Media. Together they found fun and interesting ways to share the process with the goal of capturing life in the workshop, the struggles and successes of woodworking. The woven patterns continue to evolve and have now found their way into ornate boxes, jewelry armoires and more!
